Special Mailing Group (SMG) Technical Requirements

The technical
requirements are minimal and inexpensive, but in order to use the
ECF system,
you must have (or have access to) all of the following: |

A personal
computer. The ECF HelpDesk solely has information to support
Microsoft Windows. Although we have had
numerous reports of successfully using ECF with various Macintosh,
Unix and Linux computers, the ECF Helpdesk does not have much
information to support these operating systems.

An email account
to register for ECF (now), receive future ECF notices and to send required emails.

Internet connectivity
to access ECF and email. Dial-up connections will work, but a faster
connection (DSL, cable, etc.) is always better.

An approved internet
browser
such as
Internet Explorer or Firefox.

PDF
Reader software
such as Adobe Acrobat Reader to read PDF files.
-
A
PACER
account in order to pay for downloading documents.
